‘DSP’ – Mixtape – Prabh Deep

This mixtape represents a profound journey of self reinvention, akin to the act of cleaning out a closet. It comprises reimaged tracks from various projects — some of which were once discarded — now infused with a fresh perspective and emotion. DSP is deeply rooted in Prabh’s hip hop influences, reflecting a side of him that has grown and evolved over time. 

The collaborative efforts on this project add a special layer of intimacy and connection, making it feel like a collective expression of their shared experiences. Structructually, the mixtape is divided into two distinct halves: Side A is an energetic celebration of fun and freedom, while Side B is an exploration of self-discovery and introspection, featuring an extended version of “Tabia.” This duality represents not just a balance between reflection and vitality but also a return to performing verses after a significant hiatus, marking a full-circle moment in my creative journey.
